Cooperation on climate change is one of the top issues facing China and the United States. For President Barack Obama's upcoming visit to China, boosting bilateral cooperation in energy and climate change is top of his agenda.

China and the United States are the world's two largest emitters of greenhouse gases.

Cooperating on climate change is in both countries' interest.
