Fans of Audrey Hepburn have got a sneak peek in Paris. Dozens of garments and personal items once belonging to the movie star were on show on Tuesday.
These items will hit the auction blocks next week. They include a black lace Givenchy dress that Hepburn wore in "How to Steal a Million".
There's also a demure ivory wedding gown that never made it down the aisle. The fans, fashionistas and those looking to score a slice of film history previewed the collection in the French capital before the December 8 sale in London. An auctioneer said that the lots start at an estimated 250 pounds, or 415 US dollars for a straw hat.
Most of the lots come from the closets of a long-time friend of the actress, Tanja Star-Busmann. Half the proceeds from the sale are to go to the Audrey Hepburn Children's Fund and UNICEF.
