Visiting Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping has met with South Korean leaders and members of the country's leading business circles as he began the second leg of a four-nation Asian tour.

In Seoul, the Chinese Vice President put forward a four-point plan to cement China-South Korea ties during a meeting with South Korean Prime Minister Chung Un Chan on Thursday.

First, enhance high-level contacts and political trust. Second, increase personnel exchanges. Third, strengthen international trade cooperation. And fourth, strengthen coordination in multilateral frameworks, including the meeting mechanism of China, South Korea and Japan.
