Chinese Premier on Sino-Japanese relations

Chinese Premier Wen Jiabao has received delegates from both sides attending fifth Session of the China-Japan Friendship 21st Century Committee.

Wen Jiabao said China-Japan ties are at a crucial stage, urging the two countries to enhance mutual trust and step up dialogue and cooperation in all spheres. He said in the first decade of this century, China and Japan have taken an important step towards the goal of a strategic and mutually beneficial relationship. He called on delegates of the the two countries to work closely and come up with valuable suggestions to contribute to the long-term friendship and common prosperity. He said the cooperation between China and Japan will benefit both countries and Asia at large, as well as exert positive and profound impact on world political and economic structure.
