Special Report: Strong Quake Hits Haiti |

Miracles seem to still be happening in Haiti. A man has been pulled alive from rubble 27 days after the devastating January 12th earthquake.

He is now on the road to recovery, according to doctors at the University of Miami Field Hospital.

Evans Monsigrace was extracted from the ruins of a Port-au-Prince flea market on Monday. He said he was selling rice at the venue when the tremor struck.

He added that he wasn't hurt after being trapped close to where food and drink vendors were selling their wares.

The doctor says the 28-year-old survivor has asked for chocolate, and would probably be fed rice on Wednesday. Monsigrace already wants to go home, but foot injuries will prevent him from walking for a while.
