People living along the Pearl River Delta have a long tradition of visiting flower markets. Xi Hu Road is famous for having one of the oldest markets in Guangzhou. The abundance and variety draws countless visitors who hope buying flowers will help bring them good.

Otherwise, local artists also took these chance to show their artworks to visitors. There is no doubt that tiger becomes the most popular this year.

2010 is an important year for Guangzhou, because the city is going to host the 16th Asian Games in November. As you can see, the brand of the flower market this year is designed with Asian Games element. Here visitors can not only experience the traditional atmosphere of Spring festival but also the warm welcoming for the upcoming games.

This year, a special booth was set up here by volunteers, providing consultign and interpreting service to the visitors. Also, they accepted the Asian Games volunteer application here. Some of the people handed out the application from immediately.

Meanwhile, the English version of a Food Map was also officially introduced to the visitors in the flower market in Li Wan Flower Market. The map labels the locations of different restaurants around the Xi Guan area.

Guangzhou is famous for it delicious food nationwide. So visitors can find out the traditional food with this map during the Guangzhou Asian Games.
