Special Report: Shanghai World Expo 2010 |

In less than a month to, the 2010 World Expo will kick off in Shanghai. Most of the service facilities at the site are now ready.

And the first provincial-level structure -- the Shandong Pavilion -- was put into trial operation on Sunday.

The already completed Shandong Pavilion held a special debut event on Sunday.

The Pavilion contains two exhibition halls, one specializing in traditional culture, and the other in modern city life.

A 2.5-meter high copper sculpture of Confucius has been installed in the traditional culture facility.

In service next to that "larger than life" model is a gigantic LED screen modeled on a Luban lock.
