Sudan's National Elections Commission says it's extending voting for two more days to ensure technical problems do not prevent anyone from participating.

The three-day election was initially scheduled to run from Sunday until Tuesday.

An official from the commission says it is working to correct technical and administrative mistakes that occurred during the first day of the poll.
