As more heavy machines arrive, in succession, in Yushu County, the rescue work is speeding up. The operation has been going on for four days.

Gansu Province dispatched 22 sets of professional machines on the second day after the earthquake. Another group of six heavy machines traveled more than one thousand kilometers, and arrived in the area on Saturday.

In total, nearly 100 sets of professional machines have helped the rescue staff save trapped survivors. Additional equipment is expected to arrive soon, bringing more hope for the people in the region.
