Special Report: 7.1-magnitude Quake Hit Qinghai, China |

An orphan care center has been set up in Yushu county, to help children who lost their parents in the quake.

On Monday, doctors received the first 3 orphans, ages ranging from 11 to 16. One 11-year old girl narrowly escaped death, on her way to school, but both her parents lost their lives. She's been overwhelmed by grief in the past few days, while also suffering from an ulcer. Doctors arent only only treating her illness but are also trying to treat her psychological trauma as well. The three children are receiving constant care, as more orphans are expected to arrive in the coming days.
