Chinese Super league: Leaders extend winning streak to nine straight games

In the Chinese Super league, the five time defending champions Guangzhou Evergrande traveled to face Liaoning Whowin. Despite failing to reach the knock out stage of the AFC Champions league, Guangzhou are leading the domestic standings and came into this match looking for their ninth win in a row. 

And it doesn't take long for Evergrande to open the scoring. In the 18th minute, Zheng Zhi breaks into the area and scores his first goal of the season to make it 1-0 for the visitors.

Then in the 36th minute Alan makes it 2-0 when the Brazilian finds the net with a low shot for his sixth goal in the last five games.

And Evergrande would add another in the 46th minute when Ricardo Goulart chips it in off the post. Guangzhou would win 3-0 for their ninth straight victory, equalling the record they set in 2014.

Tigers hand Blue & White first defeat of season

Tianjin Teda in the white were at home to unbeaten Jiangsu Suning. And in the 24th minute, Mbaye Diagne breaks free and acrries it into the box where he takes his time before slipping a low shot into the bottom corner and it's 1-0 Tianjin.

Jiangsu push for an equalizer and their best chance comes in the 70th minute when substitute Yang Jiawei is thwarted by Yang Qipeng right in front of goal. Tianjin hang on to win 1-0.
 
Elsewhere, Dario Conca set up Jean Evrard Kouassi to score the only goal for SIPG against Hangzhou Greentown. Shandong Luneng draw 0-0 with Henan Jianye to remain in the relegation zone.
