We head to the Great Wall of China now, where American daredevil Jeb Corliss would undertake one of the biggest challenges of his career -- skydiving from a helicopter, and gliding through a tiny target shaped like an apple -- located 12-hundred meters away. The wingsuit stunt was originally scheduled for Saturday, but had to be postponed nearly 24 hours due to strong winds outside of Tianjin. Damion Jones has the story.

The apple-sized target Jeb Corliss would aim for on Sunday morning, was set up at one of the most scenic high points on the Great Wall of China, as the daredevil's latest stunt, the Red Bull Human Arrow, required him to soar more than a thousand kilometers through the air.

And despite its complexity, absolute accuracy was of the utmost importance to this challenge, or the end result could be a disaster. That's why Saturday's initial attempt was postponed in the face of howling winds.

Corliss would decide to take his shot the next morning, in front of a fired-up local crowd. And upon skydiving from his helicopter, the American stays on course for the Great Wall, and sails through the target just as he envisioned. The extreme enthusiast had wingsuited his way through a crevice near the top of Tianmen Mountain on two previous occasions, so this stunt brings a fitting end to his China Trilogy.

And by successfully navigating his latest challenge, Corliss hopes to inspire more people to develop an interest in extreme sports, as the 40-year-old adventurer believes there is no greater thrill, than gliding toward new goals.
