In the NBA Finals, the Golden State Warriors led the championship round 2-games-to-1 over the Cleveland Cavaliers despite not getting good production from Steph Curry. The reigning 2-time MVP had averaged just 16-points game -- about 14-below his regular season average, and if the Dubs wanted get a step closer to repeating he would need to break out.

Conversely the Cavaliers wanted to remain perfect on their home floor -- as they were 7-an-oh at Quicken Loans Arena during the post-season, and another win would even the series at 2-all.

Kevin Love would be back for the Cavs after missing game three due to concussion like symptoms. He would start on the bench though.

Pick things up in the opening q, tied at 10, and the hosts move the ball around and find Kyrie Irving open for a triple. He had 34 on the night.

Curry though would have his best game of the Finals, doing Curry things -- step back triple -- and the visitors go in front.

Late in the half -- J-R Smith takes a wild off balance shot -- Cleveland keeps the pay alive -- and Love is able to hit from the land beyond to give his side a 5-point edge.

Off to the third and Curry would start to get hot -- coming off the screen and he is able to nail the triple -- he would hit seven of those in the game.

His fellow splash brother Klay Thompson would also start to get hot -- as he hits from outside the arc -- and the Warriors are chipping into the lead.

Off to the fourth, and we are tied at 81, Irving gets to the cup, his miss is is thrown home by LeBron 25 and 13 for the King.

Things would start to get chippy, Draymond Green and James get all tangled up and a little bit of trash talk involved also.

Warriors would take control down the stretch -- the MVP hitting another from the land beyond. The Dubs hitting an NBA Finals record 17-three pointers -- and the lead is 10.

Curry then ices it with a drive to the hoop. The warriors guard breaking out in a big way -- scoring a game high 38 points.

James then tries to rough Curry on an inbounds pass in the final minute -- what is that about.

Golden State takes this one 108-97 and take a 3-1 strangle hold heading back home.
