The Portuguese, and disappointment for the Welsh. Fans of both sides descended upon France to cheer on their sides, hoping they could inspire their teams into the Euro 2016 Final.

In good voice – and for good reason. Wales and Portugal fans descended on Lyon knowing their teams were just one match away from the Euro 2016 Final. The scene was set for a superstar showdown between Portugal’s Cristiano Ronaldo and Wales forward Gareth Bale … teammates at Real Madrid … and respective talismans of their national teams.

The Ronaldo shirts far outweighed Bale supporters at the FanFest in Paris. And after 50 minutes … they had something to cheer as, Ronaldo, who else opened the scoring. When he set up Nani for a second shortly after … it was clear Portugal would be the team celebrating.

"Disappointment then for Wales, who lit up this tournament, and can be rightly proud of their achievement here in France. But for Portugal ... and Ronaldo ... the dream of winning a first-ever major international tournament continues," said Dan Williams Paris.
