The Golden State Warriors have unveiled their newest prized possession, introducing Kevin Durant. The former MVP surprised the basketball world when he decided to leave his old team the Oklahoma City thunder for a chance to play with the 73-win team. The four-time scoring champ signs a 2-year deal worth 54-million bucks, and switched teams in an effort to win his first NBA title.

Durant was paraded out to the media in Oakland. K-D has spent his entire NBA career with Oklahoma City but felt it was too good an opportunity to try and play with Golden State and earn his first NBA title. The Warriors have been to the final the last two years, winning one, and even beat Durant's team in the playoffs this year, overcoming a 3-1 deficit in the process. The 6-9 forward says it was a tough choice to leave OKC, but felt that the Warriors wanted him to be part of their organization.

"I just felt like these, this group of guys when they came into see me everything was real you know you hear on the outside looking in you hear nothing. But great things about this organization and you never know how it is until you, you're face to face with these guys so to see Steph (Curry), Klay (Thompson), Draymond (Green), Andre (Iguodala) walk in the house. I was at it was I coud tell they were about business and like, I said they were a huge family walking in you know everybody was excited and the conversation was just effortless. So it was a great fit and felt like this was the best fit for me," Durant said.
