The Charlotte Hornets looked to snap a two game skid when they hosted the Minnesota Timberwolves. Andrew Wiggins scored a carerr high 47 points in Minny's win over the Lakers last time out, and although the 21-year-old would continue his good form against the Hornets, it wouldn't be enough to leave with the win.

Wiggins misses this three in the first quarter, but the rebound comes out to Ricky Rubio who calmly cleans it up giving the T-Pups a one point lead.

Now up by 11, Wiggins decides to drive inside and it's a good call as the Canadian gets the hoop and harm for a 14 point edge.

But Charlotte come back in the third quarter, and when Cody Zeller swats this attemtp it starts a fast break finished by Kemba Walker and it's 82-72 Hornets. Walker would have a game-high 30 points.

Timberwolves are down a deuce midway through the fourth Q. Wiggins uses the pick to jack up a triple and he connects for three of his team high 29 points.

Charlotte up by three now, but Minny works the ball to Karl Anthony Towns who hits from the land beyond to tie it up at 95. 21 for the big man this night.

With less than a minute on the cclock, Charlotte are going to put it to bed. Zeeler loses the ball but recovers and then takes off for the two-handed jam. And Charlotte go on to win 115-108.

Elsewhere Lebron James was one rebound shy of a triple-double as the champs Cleveland beat East rivals Toronto, Atlanta extended their winning streak to five with a 93-90 win over Miami.
