It has been nearly a month since Chinese sailor Guo Chuan went missing near Hawaii. The mariner’s boat, named China- Qingdao, has finally been pulled to shore in Honolulu, where it will be examined in an effort to piece together what happened to the sailor.

Under the precise direction of the special rescue team comprised of four French sailors, Guo Chuan’s boat, was taken to the port and was berthed at the Keehi Marine Center in Honolulu.

On November 11, the group was able to board Guo Chuan’s floating vessel. They found that it had suffered damage and needed to be repaired in port.

In the nearly 10 days of voyage, the rescue team continued searching for Guo, but there is no sign of the missing captain.

Later today, the rescue team will make full examination and try to repair the trimaran, and hopefully discover what caused the damage to the boat.

Another rescue plan will be made after the examination.
