NBA: Porzingis scores game high 31 points in Knicks win

Over to the NBA, where the New York Knicks hosted the Portland Trail Blazers. The Knicks, who had an abysmal 32-50 record last season, have shown signs of improvement this campaign and came into this game against the Portland Trailblazers in seventh place in the Eastern Conference. Rip City on the other hand, could lose their top eight spot in the west with one more loss. 

The Knicks are down by three in the early going, but big man Kristaps Porzingis nails a triple to tie it up at 12.

Damian Lillard would spark a 25-16 run for the Blazers as the ball is kicked out to Maruice Harkless who connects from distance.

Bu New York are going to go ahead when Brandon Jennings makes a nice move to set up Porzingis for two of his game-high 31 points.

Third quarter now and Portland up by three, but Mindaugas Kuzminskas hits a buzzer beater from deep to tie it once again.

And the lanky Lithuanian is going to do it again, providing the dagger in the fourth, and the Knicks go on to win 107-103.

In other games, Tim Frazier had 21 points and 14 assists in New Orleans win over Atlanta. the Nuggest hung on to beat the Bulls 110-107, and Nick Young stepped up big for the Lakers as Swaggy hit a go-ahead three with five seconds left to lift LA over Oklahoma City.
