Sticking with hoops the NBA's top two teams put on an thrilling display yesterday during its Christmas day extravaganza. Cleveland beat Golden State in a thriller that went down to the wire. But the league says the refs missed a couple of calls that could influence the game.

The first infraction was on LeBron James, the King should have been handed a technical foul for hanging on the rim after this dunk. That could have resulted in a free-throw, important because Golden State lost the game by a single point.

The second error came on the final possession, as Kevin Durant stumbled after receiving the pass, and was unable to get a shot off. He should have been awarded two free throws. He was apparently tripped by Richard Jefferson, but no call. Durant said he fell, but not on his own. Regardless Cleveland held on for a 109-108 victory, their fourth straight over the Warriors.
