IOC official: Beijing Winter Games to promote winter sports in Asia

The President of Ukraine's National Olympic Committee, Sergey Bubka, said he expects the upcoming Beijing 2022 Olympics to play an important role in promoting winter sports in China and Asia at large in a recent interview. Bubka expressed his confidence in China's capabilities to host the international sports event. He said that hosting the Olympic Games in the times of a global pandemic carries a great significance to the world.
