China opens World Snow Day, International Children's Ski Festival events in Xinjiang

An opening ceremony for China's World Snow Day and International Children's Ski Festival events was held in Wenquan County, northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region on Sunday, with hundreds of local kids enjoying some fun on snow in a new ski resort built just last year.
