China unveils its second national botanical garden in Guangzhou

South China National Botanical Garden, the world's largest South Asia subtropical botanical garden, was inaugurated on Monday in Guangzhou, the capital city of south China's Guangdong Province. Covering a total area of 333 hectares, it's one of the oldest botanical research and plant conservation institutions in China engaged mainly in the global tropical and subtropical regions' plant conservation, scientific research and knowledge dissemination.
