Pelosi's visit seriously undermines China's sovereignty and territorial integrity

The US Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi is paying a visit to China's Taiwan region despite strong opposition from Beijing. The Chinese Foreign Ministry says it can only be interpreted as the US breaking with the spirit of the one-China principle. Wu Yi, research fellow with the Institute of Taiwan Studies of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, said in a recent interview that Pelosi's Taiwan visit seriously undermines China's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
