The UN climate conference COP27 wrapped up in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, with a mix of success and disappointment. The approval of a crucial loss and damage fund for developing nations bearing the brunt of disasters induced by climate change was the highlight of this year's resolution. Wu Changhua, the vice chair of the governing council of the Asia-Pacific Water Forum, says the 'loss and damage' fund is like a bucket without water in it. The difficult part would be how much money would be allocated to that bucket.
