Michele Geraci: China delivers 'ex-post' democracy

China's democracy operates differently from Western-style democracies, with the former focusing on results and a "covenant" between the government and the people and satisfying people's needs. Michele Geraci, former undersecretary of state at the Italian Ministry of Economic Development, hailed China's result-oriented concept of democracy. He dubs this model "ex-post democracy" inasmuch as it represents the overwhelming majority and gets things done.
