Potala Palace monitored with over 10 million data points

Professor Yang Na from the Ancient Architecture Research Institute of Beijing Jiaotong University led a monitoring team to Lhasa, setting up 800 monitoring sensors in every corner of the Potala Palace, monitoring in real-time the pressure from the mountain and the palace structure. These sensors have to date recorded over 10 million sets of 'heartbeat' data from the Potala Palace.
