Doctor's race against time in Xinjiang

Ding Xin, a Chief Obstetrician at Beijing Obstetrics and Gynecology Hospital, is one of China's premier clinical obstetric experts. At the end of 2010, she was appointed as the head of the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department at the People's Hospital in Luopu County of Hotan Prefecture, as a member of the first medical support team from Beijing to Xinjiang.
