First express railway from Shanghai to Munich launched

A cargo train has left Shanghai, heading for Munich - the first ever direct express service. It's carrying goods to Europe worth around 27 million US dollars. The journey will take 17 days, around a third of the time it takes for cargo to be sent by sea.
