Oyster harvest season kicks off in Dalian

Oyster harvest season has kicked off in Dalian City of northeast China's Liaoning Province where local farmers are busy collecting the oysters from rafts in the offshore cultivation fields and loading them on trucks. Dalian is a major oyster producer in the country, accounting for about six percent of the country's total oyster production, generating nearly 1.6 billion yuan (about 237 million U.S. dollars) in revenue.
