China's breakthrough: New method to extract water from lunar soil

A scientific research team has discovered a groundbreaking method to extract water from lunar soil potentially revolutionizing future space exploration. Researchers at the Ningbo Institute of Materials Technology and Engineering (NIMTE), part of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, have formulated an innovative approach that could produce up to 76 kilograms of water from just one ton of lunar soil - enough to meet the daily hydration needs of 50 people.
