China's homegrown C919 aircraft begins to serve Shanghai-Shenzhen air route

China Eastern Airlines has started using the domestically-made C919 jet for commercial flights between Shanghai and Shenzhen in Guangdong Province, making it the first airline to operate the C919 on scheduled services to Shenzhen.
