With regard to Donald Trump's ban on Harvard University enrolling international students, Stanford professor Michael McFaul gave us his points of view in the following quotes:

"With the Native Americans lost their territories because of the seizure of the land, the rest of Americans are all immigrants. My family is a poor family from Ireland who wanted to come to America to get a better chance. My wife is half Chinese and my mother-in-law is from China because of that integration. We have data to show that immigrants work a lot harder than third generation people. It's really hard for international students to get into Stanford University. But once they get there, we benefit, especially with Chinese students in our laboratories. We benefit from innovation because China has talented students in those fields. And our professors take advantage of that. Stanford has hundreds of professors who originally come from China.

If America starts shutting off and puts up walls, that is a recipe for the demise of the United States. I don't think it's going to happen. About the future of America, we got to fight to make sure we don't go down that path."
