Japan must retract its Taiwan-related remarks, or to bear all consequences: spokesperson

Japan must immediately correct and retract its provocative remarks related to Taiwan, otherwise, all the consequences shall be borne by Japan, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Lin Jian said at a press briefing in Beijing on Thursday.

Lin issued the warning following a series of wrongful comments made by Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi on the Taiwan question.
