China holds consultations with Japan in Beijing, urging Japan to withdraw its wrongful remarks

Director General Liu Jinsong of the Department of Asian Affairs of China's Ministry of Foreign Affairs held consultation with Director-General of the Japanese Foreign Ministry's Asian and Oceanian Affairs Bureau Kanai Masaaki, on Tuesday in Beijing. Mao Ning, spokeswoman for the Chinese Foreign Ministry, said during the consultations, China urged Japan to withdraw recent wrongful remarks made by Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi and stop creating trouble on China-related issues.
