Rare golden pheasant puts on romantic courtship display in Hubei

A golden pheasant was captured on camera to court a female by a photography enthusiast at an observation point in Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture of central China's Hubei Province.

Golden pheasant is a rare bird species unique to China. Since the observation point was established in 2018, more than 200 golden pheasants have been spotted in the area with improvement ecological environment.
