Rare footage: Wild panda mother carries cub through snowy forest

A hidden infrared camera has recorded a remarkable scene in the Changqing National Nature Reserve in northwest China's Shaanxi Province—a wild giant panda carrying her cub across a snow-blanketed forest.

The video, taken deep in a mixed forest on January 8, shows the mother gently clutching the cub in her mouth, stopping for a short rest, then pressing on through the wild.
