Wild takin herd spotted in Sichuan natural reserve

A herd of takins, a species under first-class state protection in China, was captured on camera on May 30 at the Sandagu Nature Reserve in southwest China's Sichuan Province.

The precious footage was filmed by nature reserve staff during their routine patrols with drones. The sighting of this large takin herd shows that wild animal populations are growing and biodiversity is improving in the reserve.
