Pang Xinhua, Producer of Rediscovering China, graduated from Xi'an Jiaotong University and the University of Sydney, and has been working with CCTV as a documentary maker since 1996.

His documentaries "I Want to Go Home" won the first prize of 2001 China Rainbow Award and Gold Olive for best documentary at 2001 Bar International TV Festival of Yugoslavia; "Yang Xianyi and Gladys Yang" won the first prize of 2002 China Rainbow Award again; and "The Snows and China" won the first prize of 2004 China Rainbow Award for the third time.
