The forum on the peaceful development of cross-Straits relations is held in Beijing on November 2 to 3. It is jointly hosted by non-governmental organizations from the mainland and Taiwan, with support from the Communist Party of China (CPC) and Taiwan's Kuomintang (KMT) Party. KMT leader Hung wraps up visit

The leader of Taiwan's Kuomintang Party, Hung Hsiu-chu has wrapped up her visit to the Chinese Mainland. She boarded a plane this afternoon for Taipei. Hung says the visit was a success, and one which will be beneficial for future cross-Strait relations.
