《世纪》是中央芭蕾舞团首部大型原创交响芭蕾作品，运用交响芭蕾的独特艺术表现形式，融合恢弘壮美、雄壮磅礴的交响乐，以“千年之问、百年之答”的深刻思想脉络贯穿始终；通过提炼“女娲补天”、“愚公移山”、“精卫填海”、“夸父追日”等中国传统文化中的寓意精神，深挖其所蕴含的民族精神力量，艺术性呈现一个世纪以来中华民族在中国共产党领导下的百年奋进史。

2021年6月20日17：00-20：30央视网对原创交响芭蕾《世纪》进行全球独家线上首播，并与中央芭蕾舞团联合打造特别节目《足尖上的世纪》，邀请中央芭蕾舞团团长、艺术总监，同时也是《世纪》的总策划、制作人冯英，现场讲解中国芭蕾艺术发展历程和辉煌成就、交响芭蕾《世纪》的创作历程和艺术特色。

"Inspirations and Glory," the first original symphonic ballet by National Ballet of China, deeply expresses the contemporary inheritance of the spirit that empowers the Chinese nation everlasting in the grand symphony music. In the unique artistic expression form of symphonic ballet, this ballet shows the profound thoughts for the concern-provoking question from thousands years ago by extracting the moral spirits from the classical Chinese myths as well as legends and digging the power of Chinese spirit.
