Professor Pan Jianwei is the chief scientist of China's quantum satellite. He started his research in 1996 by working with Austrian quantum physicist Professor Anton Zeilinger.

Anton Zeilinger was Pan Jianwei's supervisor and is a renowned scientist in the field of quantum information and foundations of quantum mechanics.
