The winning story, titled “Jen Bricker: When ‘Can’t’ is a Four-Letter Word,” profiles a young Romanian woman who was born without legs.

Growning up, Bricker refused to use the word “can’t,” and felt there was nothing she could not do. She went on to have success in sports such as softball, basketball, volleyball and gymnastics. Now aged 27, she is an accomplished aerialist and acrobat.

Full Frame’s story has no narrator; instead, it is told in Bricker’s and her family’s own words. It was the second Emmy nomination for CCTV America, and its first win.
