We cross the pond to France for tennis and the second round of the Paris Masters that saw fourth seeded Canadian Milos Raonic taking on Pablo Carreno Busta of Spain. Raonic has been bothered by an ankle injury that he picked up in Beijing at the China Open three weeks ago, forcing him to withdraw from the semi-finals, but he would show few signs of it here as he turned in a serving lesson to see off the Spaniard.

That's Raoninc serving, tied at 4 in the opening set. And he's going to come to the net behind a forehand to the corner before taking the point with a volley.

A tiebreaker would be required to settle the close first set and a big serve sets up the winner as Raonic goes on to claim the frame.

The second would also be close, but the Canadian pulls ahead thanks to shots like that.

And Raonic is going to close it out with his 17th ace of the match. 6-4 in the second after dropping only seven points on serve in one hour and 16 minutes of work.

Now we've got the seventh seeded Tomas Berdych at the bottom of your screen serving to Joao Sousa of Portugal. Berdych is leading 4-2 in the first set of this second round match and he later takes it 6-3.

Sousa would battle back to claim the second 6-3, but when Berdych steps into this forehand, he's on his way to a late break in the decider.

The Czech now has two match points to seal a much needed win after early exits at the Japan and Vienna Opens, and he gets it when Sousa hits wide. Not sure who he's telling off, but someone's in the doghouse.

Now we've got Steve Johnson of the USA serving to local favorite Richard Gasquet who won the first set 6-4 but is well down in the second set tiebreaker as the American takes a 6-2 lead.

But the Frenchman fights back and at 6-5 he delivers backhand return to even it up at 6-all.

Gasquet now leads 12-11 and has match point, and he gets the victory when Johnson finds the net. Next up for Gasquet is another American, Jack Sock in the third round.
