A photo exhibition has opened in the Ecuadorian capital of Quito. Entitles "Beautiful China", it is welcoming visitors to learn more about the country and its culture.

Photo exhibition on China opens in Quito, Ecuador

The event is being held at the Universidad San Francisco de Quito. Dozens of pictures under the themes "Nature's Gifts," "Unity of Man and Nature", and "World Heritages in China" are on display with Spanish introductions.

The exhibits showcase China's natural landscapes, history and local people. Officials expressed the hope that the exhibition will promote cultural exchanges between the two countries, so that more Ecuadorians, especially young people, can feel the beauty and harmony of China, and the essence of Chinese culture. The exhibition will run until November 30th.
