CSL: Brazilian acquired from Chelsea for 60m euro transfer fee

SIPG have completed a long-rumoured deal to acquire the services of Chelsea midfielder Oscar. His move becoming official at a press conference this afternoon in Shangai. The CSL club paying 60-million euros for his transfer.

Team manager Andre Villas-Boas, says the Brazilian midfielder could join the squad for their first training session slated for January third.

SIPG posted a photo online of Oscar holding his new jersey in front of a Christmas tree, to confirm the Blues man's transition to the CSL side, before today's press conference.

In four years at Stamford Bridge, the 25-year-old made 203 appearances for the club, scoring 38 goals and winning the Premier League, the Europa League, and the League Cup. He joins a list of Brazilians plying their trade for the Shanghai-based squadm, as he joins Elkeson and Hulk up front for the team.
