Full coverage: President Xi Visits 3 Nations, Attends SCO Summit

We now turn to our reporter Xi Jia in Belgrade for more on the much-anticipated visit.

Q1. Xi Jia, how do the Serbian government and the public perceive President Xi's visit?

Q2. As China's Belt and Road Initiative goes farther and deeper, there are more opportunities for bilateral economic cooperation, as well as bigger challenges. What have the two countries done to boost economic ties and tackle difficulties? And how will President Xi's visit impact the bilateral economic cooperation?

"During this visit, we will sign the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership agreement. This is an inspiration as well as a big honor for us. China values our small nation and we take pride in that. This is a boost to our relations. I myself hope for more cooperation, not only in investment, constructing roads and bridges, but in building factories which are capable of producing and exporting goods to Europe, even to all over the world," said Serbian President Tomislav Nikolic.

"I think that we’ll strike a lot of deals. We're getting ready to sign almost 20 agreements, which is an amazing result for a small country. And we can do a lot of business in different spheres. We are very, very open to cooperating with Chinese companies, Chinese businesses, the Chinese government in all our social spheres," said Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic.
