The Italy Pavilion is the largest foreign state pavilion in the Shanghai World Expo. The theme of the 6,000 square-meter structure is "The City of Man".

The pavilion embodies a mini Italian city. One of the biggest highlights is a copy of the famous Olympic Theatre, built in the 16th century.

Another is a vintage car worth some 5 million Euros. Other fashion icons and famous paintings are also featured, as well as Italy's achievements in technology and environmental protection.

The pavilion comprises 20 functional modules of different shapes representing Italy's 20 regions. The National Pavilion Day for the Italy Pavilion is June 2nd.
