Special Report: Shanghai World Expo 2010 |

As a tribute to the 2010 Shanghai World Expo, a cross-stitch embroidery of a Chinese map is on display in Shanghai. It's recognized as the world's largest cross-stitch embroidery to date.

The six-by-six meter map is the work of twenty folk artists. It took them over two hundred days to finish. They have delicately portrayed all the regions and provinces of China, as well as its neighboring countries.

The embroidery will be later moved into the Chinese pavilion at the Expo.

The embroidery will be later moved into the Chinese pavilion at the Expo.
