The amphibious infantry fighting vehicles that participated in the National Day Military Parade is heading back to their bases.

After five days of travelling, vehicles from PLA Navy's South China Sea Fleet, arrived on Saturday morning. Nearly 190 soldiers and 20 infantry fighting vehicles passed through the streets of Zhanjiang city in South China's Guangdong Province.

To minimize the impact on people's daily lives, the troops chose a special route. Soldiers have also placed special covers on the tank's tracks, to protect the roads. Many residents waited along the route, to take a rare glance at the country's most advanced fighting vehicles.
